About the Teacher: Cristina Mullen LICSW has been a practicing psychotherapist in many contexts since graduating with her MSW in 1991. She has been a mindfulness practitioner and meditator since 2003 and has been providing therapy rooted in Mindfulness Practices since that time. She is currently in a two year Mindfulness Meditation Teacher Training Course with Tara Brach PhD and Jack Kornfield PhD and is offering this class as part of that course.
About the course: This course will be a 5 week curriculum with each class building on practices taught the week before. The classes are designed to help you begin a regular practice of your own. The course will introduce you to postures for meditation, breath and body practices as well as movement practices that will allow you to integrate mindfulness into your daily life. Each class will include a talk, guided practice and Q & A with some discussion.
When: Fridays at 9:00am until 10:15 on May 8th, 15th, 22nd and 29th and June 5th.

Cost: Suggested donation of 15.00 per class to 35.00 per class. Donation will go to the Refugee Women's Artist Initiative to support their livelihood as they make masks for front line workers throughout the state.
