Enrollment in DBT

THE PROCESS


Submit

Take the FIRST STEP: Use the contact form provided to contact us for an initial screening either to receive full DBT or to attend skills group only.  Please let us know in comments best days and times to schedule with you.
Note:  If you are interested in a different form of therapy with one of the clinicians on this website, please contact us through this website.   Once you have linked with a therapist STEP TWO below applies to you. The rest of the steps do not apply. 

​STEP TWO:
We will email you a link to sign into our online portal through Simple Practice.  Please fill out the requested documentation prior to your screening appointment.  
If it is determined in the screening appointment that you are going to join the group, the next step is to get on the waiting list.  Sometimes this is a short wait and sometimes longer.

STEP THREE:
You will need to be in weekly therapy as a pre-requisite for attendance in skills group.  You may ask for referrals during your screening process either to one of our therapists or outside this clinic.

STEP FOUR:   Review the materials list on the DBT Skills tab and make sure you have them prior to class.

STEP FIVE:   You will receive your zoom meeting ID for group and the password ID through the Simple Practice portal invitation. Save this information in a place you can find, download zoom so that you are able to join your first class without problems.   Make sure you have read the zoom meeting guidelines so that you are able to participate comfortably and maintain the confidentiality of all in attendance.   Bring a beverage, dress comfortably and be ready to be on camera the whole 2-hour class period.
